The distinciton between mind and brain

Noticed this under another topic. Having had some hands on experience with this subject working with those who have suffered severe brain trauma, I can say with certainty the mind and the brain are not the same and that the mind can be only slightly more lasting than the brain, which is chained to the mortal coil. However, I can also say with certainty that while the mind can have effect as a force, it is NOT sentient and cannot form without a distinctly active sentient brain. It might be said that we think to form mind to fulfill purpose or will, but direction of mind can only be achieved while there is a functioning brain. The mind is seated in all the glands ~ from brain to skin (not just the brain) and is as lasting as any trace of any of those and to the degree of that trace. However, there are certain esoteric practices that can extend the span of mind by even centuries in very rare cases.

In the case of severe brain trauma, if the victim is young enough, it is possible to manipulate mind externally to stimulate brain regeneration. I have achieved this using a qabalah framework with moderate to severe damage occurring in children before the age of three, with the therapy continuing to be effective until about seven or eight diminishing in effectiveness with aging.

The brain analyzes data ~ it reads color and shape and notices fissures and combines that with what is known of point of origin and the character of the stone. But, at some point it is the mind that takes over to intuitively know precisely where to place the wedge and at what angle, and how much force to apply to shear a gemstone to perfection. That final act is beyond reasoning, just as what follows after the end of mortality is beyond reason.

Conspiracy 3 is not a movement. It is looking over one’s shoulder to catch an inevitable technology wave at an opportune moment to best surf it. But this is not all Troll Hut is about.

It is interesting how things come together to realize destinies when we live a certain way. I learned some of this from Kenneth Anger, but most of what did not come by the very synchronicity that exemplifies it, I learned from the great Stanley Tayler (more on him later). I came to know much of the mind and brain through necessity but how I came to that place in my life was due to a bit of folly. It was the result of being busted for cultivating and marketing my brand name product, “Dragon Head Tops”. They caught me red handed, more because I grew tired of the intrigue than for any other reason. There had been a gun battle over the damned issue. Just too silly!

I was well known as an artist and for my work with cults, so they gave me a get out of jail free card. I don’t even have an arrest record after having swat teams called out specifically on my account half a dozen times including the Dragon Head bust. They got me with two tons of packaged products with beautiful Dragon Head labels. No doubt at all there was intent to sell. I received a one-hundred dollar fine and thirty days community service. I knew the Ingleside police captain that arrested me (swat had to be called in ~ when they are, the captain has to be on scene) and the judge who sentenced me. We had brunched at Daphne Green’s. They knew me well enough to know I would not be able to do my thirty days and walk away. It was a therapy center for severely autistic children. None of that borderline stuff they call autism today. These children were frozen in silent internal worlds. I worked there for free for two years devising tricks to bring them out of their shells. Never did entirely stop working with the mentally challenged.

Years later I ended up adopting a child who is ageneses corpus collasum with complications that make her one of the rarest creatures on earth. She is a wondrous pixie and my hero. When I adopted her the prognosis was that it was very temporary. She was given very little chance of living past the age of five. It has been a long bloody hands on battle. Not that tucked away in the hospital with doctors doing the fighting while you pray for the best kind of battle. I mean there was plenty of that, but I have fought through more near death grand mals than I can count. I have learned more from her than any other human on earth. I have fought and dealt with every force in the cosmos to gain her a bit more time. It has been a battle with doctors and agencies that insist it is best she be in an institution and that every landmark development stage of life will end her life. Screw them! She is now thirty-two, going strong, and a very interesting person.

I work with others now as well. Most are victims of severe head trauma. I enjoy working with them to inspire that extra effort it takes to just face the days we take for granted. But, most of all, I enjoy inventing devices that enable them to be able and creative. This is as much a part of Troll Hut as the Conspiracy 3 aspect.
